Known as the conquistadores of planets, these shifty rodent-like demons are a terrifying sight to behold. With a majority of the species possessing silver/blue hair, black sclera, light coloured pupils and a dawny-blue set of extra limbs and ears, while they might seem cute at first glance (or from behind), these tall demons make it obvious very quickly that they're not the sort to be messed with. Due to the powerful gravity that exists on Mode, the body structure of a Modean is focused on their lower body and upper body solely. This gives them a rather creepy appearance in that there's little weight on their midsections. Since their feet are also oddly shaped, this gives their gait a sometimes zombie-like appearance. Notably, Modeans have no belly button, and seem to be lacking a few sets of ribs too.
Not much is currently know about Modeans, as the first one that visited Ceres was a royal bunny-like child by the name of Tsukissu. However, it was made clear that a Modean cannot survive on Ceres for long periods of time without a form of energetic sustenance; Tsukissu depended on the blood of Etheram to live on Ceres for 4 years, and even then only managed to stay somewhat healthy by draining the blood of his prey. Without the proper energy that Mode provides (which is much more than the planet Ceres provides at any given time, save for lifestreams), a lost Modean is doomed to a death by starvation. Notably, Tsukissu was severely malnourished when he returned to Mode with help from Tsurugi and the Intergalactic Rescue Team, despite the fact that he ate MORE than that of an average Cerian! As a result of this drawback, in addition to the fact that no Cerian or historian has made it to Mode and come back alive (or well due to the gravity there), there's very little information about them currently. However, this has not stopped folklore from speaking of their brutish strength in such a way as to paint them as horrifying individuals, much as the stories paint Vulcaneans (though it's justified in that case).
However, it seems Modeans, Vulcaneans and Cerians can all cross-breed, and are able to create and hold Seeds made from any other group. It's unknown if it's possible for a male Modean to bear Seeds as male Cerians can, however.
The Modean Prince, Tsukissu, is notable for his tremendous strength beyond that of even Ryoku, who he once beat down for failing Etheram in a time of need (even if he hadn't known of it). Because Etheram raised Tsukissu until he could no longer stay on Ceres, he's extremely protective over him, and communicates with him often over "Space Mail Videofeed", which is basically a special computer that can receive video chats from Mode. It is notable that Tsukissu "claimed" Etheram as his "Master" by biting the wrist he used to feed from when he was first discovered. However, it seems his nickname of "Master" for Etheram is a bit strange in that he considers Etheram to be the "Master of those I [Tsukissu] have conquered". In other words, Etheram was the first person Tsukissu ever conquered. Though he also "claimed and conquered" Ryoku at one point, Ryoku is also referred to as "Master" thanks to his relationship with Etheram. Regardless, neither Ryoku nor Tsukissu saw eye to eye after Ryoku was "conquered", and they actively avoided or ignored each other when Etheram wasn't around to watch or scold them.
Notably, Modeans seem to possess the greatest amount of strength amongst the three demonic species in Kaskuri's realm, and their healing factor is roughly on-par with that of a Cerian's. They are extremely difficult to defeat due to their (surprisingly sturdy) frame as well. However, their drawback is that Modeans have next to no magic affinity, despite their heavy need for magical energy/Essence. It seems their "magic" lies in their physical strength. However, it is unknown if it is simple Contact Magic, or something more complex yet...
Unlike Vulcaneans or Cerians, their gender ratio is quite even, and rarely has genderless or intersexed beings amongst their population.
