Common Cold

Type: Virus

Cure: Immune system

Description: An unpleasant impairment of senses that can include fever, runny nose, stuffy nose, sore throat, coughing, sneezing and possible upset stomach. In nearly all cases the immune can deploy antibodies to fight off the cold. Common colds are so common because there are many different strands of the virus, making this virus recatchable if it's a new strand.

Cavity

Type: Infection

Cure: Dental filling, tooth removal

Description: The last stage of tooth decay in which the tooth begins to receive permanent damage that results in portions of the tooth getting broken down completely. When a cavity has progressed far enough, there is no way to naturally recover the damage. If a cavity reaches an extreme state, it can lead to gum infection and potential infection of the body via the mouth.

Athlete's Foot

Type: Bateria

Cure: Strong hygienic cleaning

Description: A colony of bacteria that forms at the foot under moist body temperature conditions. This condition usually results in the neglect of the foot or wearing the same footgear for too long between hygienic treatments. This bacteria can also spread by attaching to other surfaces and then attaching to another foot. The best way to prevent this bacterial infection is wearing footwear and practising regulatory hygienic procedures.

Cancer

Cure: DNA Strander, Pine-based syrup

Description: Commonly known to Humans as a death sentence, Cancer is when a portion of the DNA that controls cell reproduction within someone mutates. This causes the cell to multiply uncontrollably, and any cells that multiply from it to multiply as well. Cancer comes in different forms, depending on how severe the DNA corruption is. Some cancers form a tumour that takes nutrients from the body and acts as it's own organ. Some cancers are aggressive and will attack the body. There's even cancers that will merely stick to a local spot. Cancer usually has devastating consequences because uncontrolled cell production results in far too many cells than the body can handle. It often leads to the failure of organs. Aggressive cancer's even more dangerous, as it will attack organs, which will result in failure. The more vital the organ it reaches, the lesser chance of survival. Cancer's most survivable if caught early. To defeat cancer, one must use a very special instrument called a DNA Strander, which can be used to replace a portion of a DNA strand. This is the best method as it removes corrupted portions of DNA and replaces them with a healthy section. Pine based syrup works well, if you can stand the taste, but it can also stop the reproduction of healthy cells. It must be taken in specific doses. If the cancer's in a later stage, it must be applied directly to infected areas via surgery or a needle.

Magolaio

Type: Parasite

Cure: Removal from inside, very specific spell

Description: A strong magical parasite that makes it's way through skin as a single cell organism and, once inside, grows to about a few millimetres in length, then feeds off of the individuals magics. Magolaio are rare and they're found in isolated areas, however they start airborne, making them pretty dangerous in general should one walk in their area. They start passive, then they become parasitical. They could be passive for as long as six months. They can be aggressive as well. Curing one via a specific spell becomes very hard when it's aggressive. This parasite can be fatal to those who rely on magical energy. However, to those who don't rely on magics, they may only feel weakened at most, the parasite will die when it runs out of magic to consume. The best way to remove this parasite is to become mini, go inside to the site, and attack it manually, to avoid unnecessary damage to the host.

Cerian Diseases

Rose Rot

Type: Infection

Cure: Unknown

Description: A disease unique to demons of Ceres, this disease occurs when a demon comes in contact with infected blood or corrupted energy that enters their bloodstream. At first, the disease manifests as a heavily bruised wound, puffing up at the site of infection. Any initial bleeding quickly staunches as the blood builds up underneath the bruising, making the skin darken a great degree. At its first stage, the disease spreads along the body until it either reaches the Core or the infection is made to stop spreading. At the second stage, any additional wounds cause bloody petals to expand, which becomes a strange, crunchy powder if it's scrapped off. At this point, the infected is usually quarantined, as these petals will flake off often and have a high probability of passing the disease onto others. Due to delirium, this is the stage where the infected are most likely to go insane. By the third and last stage, the infected's body begins to decay and fall apart. It is not uncommon for the infected to go blind or deaf if the infection reaches their face. By the end, if they aren't treated properly or in time, the demon eventually falls down and dies after complete organ failure. The body then decomposes into a sticky mixture of corrupted energy and blood petals before it eventually vanishes in a burst of corrupted energy. This disease is very rare, making treatment expensive and/or difficult. The duration varies from years to simply months depending on the strength of a demon's magic (since the disease is actually fueled by magic energy). The stronger they are, the faster it spreads.

Lunacy

Type: Parasite

Cure: None; avoid looking at the red and blue moons

Description: When a demon of Ceres witnesses the full red moon (Vulcan) or a full blue moon (Mode), the foreign energies can sometimes cause a mutated disease in a demon's body that basically acts like Mad Cow disease and drives them insane. Though the wounds from such an experience can be cured later on, it is unlikely that one affected by Lunacy will ever return to the way they used to be.

Power Surge/Seep

Type: Virus

Cure: None (Randomly occurring crippling)

Description: Much like Lunacy, this disease occurs during a full moon (though it doesn't matter which one a Cerian sees). As full moons often gives Cerians a boost in their powers, this disease is when their energies are boosted to such an extent that the resulting cool down takes more of their energy than it normally would, permanently crippling their magic abilities. Unlike Lunacy, this disease is extremely random and hard to avoid. Thankfully, the chances of this occurring during a full moon is less than 10%.
