The future incarnation of Messiah Jr., Steiner originally came to the acres to change the future of his immediate family and uncle, who had been killed in an incident after he and the Mirai of the past ran away together. At first, Steiner appeared just as polite as his former self, if not a little naive at times. As time in the past passed on and the bad future with Mirai and his deceased family was averted, and after having to give up the child he bore to The Four Spirits to guarantee that the Dragon of Rebirth wouldn't cause any future problems, he became much more morose and withdrawn (especially with a lack of socializing). Eventually, Steiner began to become reclusive, and now only appears to the few he trusts and those he knows are from the future. These days, as his future has changed (though still not to a positive one), he's hopeful that it can change again to a good future for certain this time.
Whenever he gazes at Crysidella or his past self, his mood drops quite a lot. He becomes completely silent if his past mistakes are brought up by anyone but himself. Normally, Steiner is a cool and calm individual by any other means.
Being only physically 16, Steiner isn't the strongest fighter, but has a decent amount of strength. His magic attacks are where his true power lies, though he'll rarely use it. He's a bit bulkier than the other children of the past (Zoltan and his family excluded), but is still relatively frail when compared to the others and even his past self. His magic is fairly potent, especially with the augmentation his version of Adaptability offers him.
He was close with Qualia in the future, since she reminded him of his younger siblings. He's fairly protective over her, though he trusts her to be safe with her family of the past.
After deciding he wanted to return to his own time, Steiner was convinced to give life at the acres a proper shot after Zena's rebirth, going through the exact same process as she did. While he was rather nervous about it (especially after Crysake and the future children went back home), knowing nothing awaited his return, Steiner took the plunge after writing his memories in a diary for future reference. So far, he hasn't regretted being reborn, though much like Zena, the memories of his past life are slowly fading away as he becomes an entirely new person.
After spending some time with his younger self and Tutore, Steiner took a liking to Tutore and asked if he'd become partners with him. Ecstatic when he agreed, Steiner formed a Mate Bond with him, and experimented a bit with a gender bender potion. While the relationship is very new and fresh, Steiner seems to think it's one of the best decisions he's ever made, and looks forward to seeing where it goes.
After meeting and learning about Kamali, Steiner ended up adopting him through the hosting process, and has become a rather proud mother over him. While his magic does worry her a bit, Steiner does her best to take good care of him and help him out in his studies when she can.
After some time travelling shenanigans, Steiner came across an alternate version of Tutore, simply called Tute, who had been disowned and left for dead. Feeling a strong maternal protectiveness over the poor child, she ended up taking him back to the acres with her and adopted him as she’s adopted Kamali. With her family growing bigger and closer, Steiner has also begun to enjoy her life much more fully with the children and Tutore in her life. Still, she can’t help but worry she’ll cause them pain if anything were to happen to her...
