Mikage

Often experiencing difficulties both socially and skillfully as a half-demon, Mikage is unusually cheerful given his past. Abandoned by his human mother and demon father, he's raised first by Kage, then by Yoru and his father later on. Given a wide array of skills and training from multiple sources, Mikage is a master of nothing, and somewhat of a rounded fighter. Utilizing his tonfas for defense, he will often refuse to seriously harm or kill enemies due to past fears, though he'll attack without restraint if his friends or family are put in danger.

Due to his unique nature, Mikage has something of a mixed array of magic skills. Able to use Elemental Magic (demon) and Emotional Magic (human), Mikage can often imbue his elemental attacks with varying feelings, even stunning opponents with Fear or other such emotions. Unlike most of his full-demon brethren, Mikage feels emotions much more intensely than the others do, and has to constantly hold back the magic that sprouts as a result.

Due to his first life's abuse, he absolutely loathes anything with bread in it, calling it disgusting and other such things. Anything else that reminds him of his past will also garner unusual scorn from Mikage, who otherwise tries to look forward to the future with joy rather than hatred.

As he reveres his elders (notably Kage, Yoru and Hakune), Mikage will always be respectful towards older characters, though he's sometimes too casual in the way he speaks. In regards to the others, while he has befriended Akibi and Ryoku, he keeps his distance from most full-blooded humans or demons out of fear of being put down. Only his mentors and caretakers seem to notice this about him.

Mikage has a rather unique quirk about himself that provides more insight to his true nature. His right eye is red, whereas his left eye is gray. This heterochromia, while not uncommon amongst demons, shifts if he ever takes on a full-blooded form in either direction... This trait alone often garners more attention than Mikage would like.

As he and Takuto were classmates in his first life, he gets along very well with Takuto in his second life, though he sometimes displays disbelief and fear due to the way Takuto died in his (Takuto's) first life. He adores the music and songs Takuto will sometimes belt out, and seems unusually interested in the timbre of a voice...

After Ragnarok's Call ended successfully, Mikage was sent back to his proper timeline, alongside the others. Once he returned, Mikage has aged a bit physically, and is now much better at using his Shadow Magic. Coming back at 20 rather than 18 as before, Mikage has retained all of his memories of the last life. Due to this, Mikage now functions as the go-to informant for any demons who drop by the party, especially since Mikage has now become much more to the point than before. He still retains his playful and friendly attitude, however. He's best friends with Takuto, and graduated with him in his recent life (unlike the previous one, where Takuto was murdered). They're sometimes vitriolic with one another, but they never dish out anything cruel. He DOES show some strange attitude towards Hakune much more often, however... Though, his affections are torn between the person who's given him the most strength, and his loyal childhood friend, Hikaru...

After a rather crappy love life, and an unpleasant surprise with a girlfriend of his, it seems Mikage is resigning himself to living a single life. At the least, he's far better off than he was in his younger years, and hopes the future is more positive.
