Soul Fairy

A soul fairy is a fragment of the soul that has taken a solid form. A large majority of the soul fragments usually take a fairy like form, however shape and physics can vary greatly. Soul Fairies typically form when the soul is generating over triple it's usual energy, however, everyone has different trigger levels. A sign that a soul fairy may be forming off of someone is when a energy patch starts to form on them. Energy patches are usually a natural looking dent in the skin, as a form of protection, they often form in an area that is covered the most (area that receives little sunlight, however it must be on the surface, except in rare cases). The first stage is the formation of this depression in the skin, which is about the size of the top of a thumb. The second stage typically involves the skin starting to crystallize, however, some species will have some other material form over their skin. The third stage is typically felt, when a batch of crystal forms to fill the depression in the skin. Some species may have the depression filled in differently, depending on the material forming. Scientists have named the depressions Soul Nests, where a physical fragment of a soul is born. The third stage is where most species, that have not dealt with more than triple their soul power, will slow and eventually stop. Some will advance to stage four, when the material starts to take the general shape of their element. When the shape formation is complete, the Soul Nest will interact with touch and the formation is now connected to the soul, as a fragment. Stage five requires a strong power spike, enough to supercharge the Soul Nest. This creates a channel of energy heading through the formation, the Soul Nest starts to convert excessive energy and a Soul Fairy is born.
