Serena

Sorceress Serena hasn't had the best upbringing. Taught that demons were mindless creatures that would never hesitate to harm her, Rena sometimes shows unfair bias towards new species due to this ingrained (but terrible) ideology. Since meeting and marrying Kage, she has tried her best to push away such thoughts, and often suffers from a sense of self-loathing whenever such thoughts try surfacing.

As one of the first Sorceress', Rena's Emotion Magic is unparalleled. Able to emulate Kage's Iceberg ability, alongside many other frosty and piercing spells, Rena nevertheless prefers the job of a healer, and can usually ease the suffering of another with that warm skill of hers. She may have passed these skills down to Mikage, though time will tell if Mikage will be able to use Emotion Magic well at all...

She often showcases a cheerful, almost bird-like persona in order to appease the people she's traveling with. However, her love for certain things is definitely genuine, and though she's often uncertain about many manners, she'll stick to her guns when she needs to.

Due to being raised in Chounen and in a dress standard that demanded skirts and dresses, Rena has an unusual resistance to cold environments (more so than usual humans, anyway).

She's got about an eight of demonic blood in her family line. Her deceased cousin, Kuro Kaito (one of Kage's closest friends, and Elli's namesake) is a half-demon, however. When one takes her family's views on demons into account, many questions begin to surface...although, living with her soul bound to Kage for so long has long since killed the possibility of getting any answers out of that issue.

Serena is comfortable being called Rena or Wren, though only Kage calls her by the latter name.

When she was reborn thanks to Dimenda's help, Rena became a half-demon purple fairy-wren, and has become even more cuddly than she was before. After Crysta claimed her and Kage as their Mates in their upcoming Clan, Rena began to dote affection upon Cryslove. When Aika helped Cryslove grow into an adult (and gave Rena a few new abilities as well), Rena took Cryslove as her Mate, soon followed by Kage. Rena is extremely affectionate with Cryslove, albeit a little mischievous too thanks to Kage's influence.

With a lack of affection and/or attention from Cryslove, Rena and Kage have both grown to depend on one another once again, becoming even closer in Rena's time of sickness. Due to lacking a heart that can sustain her new body, with help from the Shadow Prince and Immunità, Rena's heart was replaced with a new Core, hopefully allieving her of anymore heart-based problems.
