Firstly, additional info before I forget it: http://shadow-rukario.deviantart.com/art/Cerian-Flags-397506125
The planet Ceres, home to all Mystics, Demons, Monsters and even some Spirits and Humans with specific magical advantages. Though it and its sister planets, Vulcan and Mode, have been kept isolated from other realms, its inhabitants are quite hardy, and able to adjust to any other planet given certain adaptations.
With its own line of Progenitors that act to keep the planet in balance, Ceres is host to many unique places. The five main regions any foreigners will hear of most are Chounen (the Ice Region), Zhoushen (the Flame Region), Siryen (the Wind Region), Yoshou (the Earth Region) and Kinrai (the Thunder Region). The smaller, yet equally strange regions that are sometimes mentioned are Maryen (the Water Region), Sunya (the Steel Region), Plurain, Haricain and Riricane (the Light, Dark and Shadow Regions respectively). Though one can expect to find matching Elements in the named regions, many creatures of the opposing Elements can often be seen running around those same regions. In the smaller regions, it seems rarer magics can be found more commonly...
When one visits Ceres, they should be aware of the different sorts of magic and creatures that inhabit this Essence fountain. Of the creatures, the current species are widely varied: Monsters, Demons, Mystics, Humans, Spirits, Guards, Gods, and even the Progenitor are among some of the most common sights. You'll never see the Creator on the planet itself, though you may rarely see a Vulcanean or Modean running around (they are quite strange "demons" when compared to the nigh-human-like ones of Ceres). Hybrids and halfbreeds are also a common sight on Ceres, though one should be very cautious of the half-human ones (which may be prone to Emotional Magic bursts). Androids and other such industrial creations usually work under or for humans, Mystics and (rarely) Demons alike. They always lack auras (the manifestation of one's soul, and thusly magical strength/energy).
Of the magic, there is currently a very wide number of schools one can train or excel in. The most common schools includes Flame (Fire to Anima-based creatures like humans), Ice, Water, Earth, Nature (a common subtype being Poison), Thunder (the weaker subtype being Lightning), Light, and Dark magics.
Of the uncommon, there's Steel, Shadow (a mix of Light and Dark, although that mixed balance may vary), Esper (Mind to Anima and Spirit (Mystic) based creatures), Illusion, Blood (Carnage) and Charm magics (although Charm-based magics are strictly Mystic in nature; demonic Charm magic has died out and become part of their abilities instead).
Finally, rare schools are Gem, Rune, Arcane, Space (the weaker subtype being Void), Time and Realm magics (Realm being Time/Space). Of all the magics, Anti-Magic may be the most dangerous; any magical creature (such as a demon) will die when they're forced to stay near a creature with Anti-Magic on them.
There are 4 extinct schools of Demonic Magic. These are Berry (spells powered by certain berries), Candy (spells powered by sugar-based treats), Number/Luck (the Guard for that school died out permanently) and Love (this school became built-in abilities for many demonic races).
The Emotional Magic of humans can only emulate common demonic spells or Elements, with the addition of Shadow and Esper-like spells. Human magic is usually non-elemental, though some humans in possession of Para-Magic will be able to cast (strange) Elemental spells with no issues. Mystics, related to humans, are also limited to the common +2 spells, though many Mystics have Charm and Death/necromancer-based abilities. They can also create Illusions, and occasionally dabble in Blood Magic as well.
Those foreign to Ceres, but common to its sister planets, are often called Aliens. Foreigners from other realms will often be treated with a healthy dose of fear or respect from the inhabitants of Ceres (or any of its sister planets, for that matter).
Due to the way the realm has been created, any magical being or being with a soul, upon death, will be sent to Dream World, a paradise of elemental zones for the dead. From there, those souls may be able to reincarnate, and will be reborn on Ceres after they pass through the reincarnation cycle. The memories of any demonic or Monster-like creature will be strictly restricted onto each planet, DW included. This means that a reborn Cerian will remember their previous life on Ceres (with some exceptions), but won't be able to remember their life on DW unless they return there (and vice versa for the other planets as well).
Certain ranks will always reincarnate, or have a higher chance of going through the reincarnation cycle. Guards are one such fixed race (with exceptions). Unusually, the Creator isn't always guaranteed to be reborn. This is why Kaskuri is the last Creator responsible for this particular realm.
