Kagetora

Known as Lusca in his human life, this energetic hybrid loves to bounce around and annoy people. Often acting incredibly cheerful to an insane degree, Kagetora dislikes seeing pain in others, be it emotional or otherwise. As a result (and having been lost himself), Kagetora will always befriend anyone he sees, be they friendly or not.

Once a full-human, the hidden Hazukane (thunder rat) genes in his body were awakened after Kagetora was pushed off a cliff, by a friendly clan of cabbits. However, as the cabbit Elder gave him some of their blood to keep him from dying a lonely death (his last wish), their powers overtook that gene, and he became the strange cabbit he is today as a result. From there, Kagetora went on to live in Lightning's domain, although he made friends with some of Mikage's ancestors and ended up living with his grandfather for quite some time. When Kagetora was fatally wounded protecting that ancestor, he was placed into stasis and sealed onto a tree in the hopes that they could treat him when technology grew stronger. However, as the centuries went on, Kagetora went on forgotten, stuck in a painful and lonely stasis until Mikage came across him during a mission. From that point on, Kagetora has lived in the Minerva Academy, courtesy of Mikage and his mentor, Hakune, who runs said academy.

In his human life, Lusca befriended the cool Ruroa, and occasionally played with the little mystic and his twin sisters. When Ruroa's sisters were killed and Ruroa disappeared, Lusca wandered off, eventually being 'killed' by Ruroa's barely-surviving father, who had decided to destroy whoever Ruroa had been tied to in order to 'erase' his existence. Ruroa's father perished soon afterwards. Known as Rouge today, Kagetora is steadfast in his loyalty to the depressive half-Mystic, though he will assert his words if he feels Rouge is becoming out of control. Since then, he and Rouge have formed something like a brothership, and will always cover Rouge's back in battle (and vice versa).

Due to being placed into stasis, Kagetora has retained his physical youth, although there's no telling how he'll age in the future...or if he'll live very long to begin with.

Despite the fact that his Monster-like form is incredibly small, Kagetora hates small spaces. It seems this was a phobia borne in his childhood, though even Tora wouldn't be able to say why.

Kagetora masters in the art of Capoeira brawling, and often teaches some of his skills to those that ask. While he's in possession of the strong Thunder Magic, Tora doesn't often fight with magic. He can use some Contact Magic, however. Currently, he's tutoring Mikage in the physical arts.
