Zena

Qualia is the future child of Rikiya and Black-bell, though the story behind that one is incredibly complicated. She's never had a normal upbringing, and even the manner to which she was created was an odd one (as she was born from a Seed rather than naturally). Still, despite the situation she was born into, Qualia reveals herself to be a good-natured and gentle person by nature, though she becomes very protective and even becomes feisty whenever her family or friends are taunted or put in harm's way. She came to Black-bell and Rikiya to warn them about the future and to tell them what to avoid, though she didn't spill all the beans directly to them. After an incident with Crysake, and a scenario with Steiner, she's taken to being much less open about her situation and has taken up a disguise. With help from Fulmine, Black-bell and Rikiya, she poses as Zena, a child who simply wanted to hang around them for a while. For now, it seems the disguise will work to prevent anyone from connecting the dots...if her scent and mannerisms don't give her away, anyway.

While she initially appeared in the body of a 15 year old girl, Qualia in actually is only about a year old, and her true form is that of a toddler. In her real form, she's not able to do much of anything, though she can walk, and is pretty much simply a child with the ability to talk. While she'll publicly appear in her teenage form, when she runs low on energy, she'll revert to that default.

She's shown some fascination with Fulmine (for his 'mysteriousness') and blacksmithing (for it's handiness), and seems to adore Rikiya's rabbit summon, Senri. So far, she's been fairly calm within her family. In particular, she looks up to Black-bell quite a bit, and often asks him things simply to hear him speak. She does seem uncertain of how to act around Rikiya, though, considering that he acts awkwardly around her too. Slowly, however, they seem to be getting closer as well, in simple ways. Qualia still seems to long for a hug from her parents though.

Recently, she revealed a secret to Fulmine. When she was around a year old in the future, Qualia died of SIDS in her sleep, driving bad future-Rikiya mad. While she was able to stay in limbo and stick with her parents, Qualia was unable to experience many new things and fulfill her dreams and desires, though bad future-Rikiya was still able to teach her some healing and spirit-based techniques. Eventually, after some time of being stuck in this state, when Steiner found a way to go back to the past to change the future, Qualia tagged along with them. For some reason, being sent back in time seemed to have an exaggerated effect on Qualia and allowed her to be seen by non-Spiritmasters/spirits. As a result of this, she appears to be a living, breathing entity as anyone else. She does have a ghostly side she'll only show to Fulmine, however, as she seems to trust him a good amount already. She'll never grow bigger, unfortunately (though this won't be noticeable with her teenage form available).

On the night of the 28th of September, Qualia passed away, though she junctioned onto Fulmine's hands as crimson claws before her spirit could properly leave her body. As a result of this, she no longer is prone to the one-hitpoint wonder status her weak body used to have, though her defences are fairly low. With an increase in stats due to her real power being freed from her body's limitations, Qualia may become a very handy ally...though it's likely few will be able to see or notice her while she's a Spirit. Within dream realms, she'll always manifest. In the physical realm is an entirely different matter, though... She'll only be able to appear as a spirit in the physical realm if Fulmine allows her to, otherwise she'll remain as crimson claws (albeit retaining her sentience).

When Siriki and Rikiya needed support and were taken into Immunità's vessel, once Fulmine had been pulled in, Zena was able to manifest and was given enough energy to temporarily take on her teenage form thanks to the energy-carrying ribbons within Immunità's body. As a result of Fulmine's willingness to check her inner organs (specifically her womb and Seed Pouch) for any potential heath issues (as Siriki and Rikiya both had problems with such a thing), she ended up accidentally causing Fulmine to be turned into an embryo, which then became a fetus and grew from there. With the assistance of the ribbons, she successfully managed to give birth to a now-living Fulmine, and cares even more deeply for him than she did before. Having confessed to him and become partners with both him and Siriki on the same day, she's incredibly happy yet very curious as to how the future is going to unfold. Still, she's rather happy to be able to be with Fulmine and to benefit and care for him, regardless of her own worries or doubts.

Now that Zena has been reborn, she looks forward to living her new life with her family and partners, and vows to try her hardest to protect them with her life. While she does sometimes feel out of place or awkward in the family dynamic, she generally adores her life and family, and wouldn't give them up for anything in the world.

When Siriki invited her into forming a Soul Bond with Fulmine and her, Zena was over the moon and happily accepted the offer, happy to be even closer to her beloved Fulmine. When Siriki gave birth to the twins, she was even more happy to become a second mother to them, and often babysits and plays with them whenever their parents are busy. She’s become very protective over her entire family, and makes sure no one is ever hungry or lacking any food or snacks.
