This wide-eyed, innocent-looking sea cat-looking demon is quite a powerhouse despite appearances. With bright teal fur, enormous and sharp claws, and the ability to wield Thunder Magic, Tsukuyomi makes an incredibly useful teammate when blitz tactics are required. Though her body is powerful, her magic is less notable, with a decreased Magic limit and the few spells she possesses SP-heavy. Though she suffers from this drawback, whenever Yomi is involved in a battle, she'll be sure to do her very best, especially when she's surrounded by those she cares about. However, Yomi's life wasn't always so seemingly single-minded and carefree before...
When the original Master of Vulcan began to grow mad and lusted power and began to plan on conquering Ceres, she sent a recently-battle-worthy cub by the name of Tsukuyomi to scope the place out, and to infiltrate their biggest source of power to destroy it from the inside-out. However, rather than fulfilling her role, she came across a then-preteen Yoru, just before he lost his father at the hands of his old mentor. Unlike most of her kin, Yomi knew of the Dream World, and the requirements to get into it - namely, possessing a soul, which many of the current Vulcaneans did not possess. Yomi was an unusual exception to this rule, and behaved much different than the rest of her people did; she also possesses the ability to carry children, which wasn't possible before. Desiring to have a "soulful" life of her own when she saw the liveliness the young Yoru possessed, Yomi eventually fell in love with him after the two journeyed and lived together for 5 years.
In the meantime, Master was creating an army to conquer Ceres completely with; during one of her visits with Master, Yomi's desire for a meaningful existence and her love for Yoru were both discovered at the same time. And so, Master stole both her soul away from her, and tore out what little she had for herself; namely, her ability to have children. Left to die for half a year, and yet unable to quite let go of what little life she had left, when Master returned to a broken Yomi's side, she offered her an ultimatum: she could have her soul at the expense for her love and the fate of Ceres (and thus be able to travel to the paradise that is Dream World once she died). Desperate, Yomi took the offer, and was promptly given a red stone in which her soul was encased in. Alongside it, Master's soul itself was crammed into the stone, allowing her to possess Yomi once she came across Yoru once again (who Master had taken an intense hatred to).
The resulting encounter was a bitter one, with Yoru refusing to believe Yomi had been lying to him for so many years (especially since this was at the height of his distrustful scorn). Initially, he rejected Yomi's offer for friendship again. But when he realized the predicament the both of them were in, he decided to save her rather than to condemn her to such a sad fate. However, in the time it had taken him to realize his error, Yomi had given the control of her body to Master, who immediately set to first wipe out Chounen's army, then to wipe out any powerful parties in Ceres itself. To prevent this from happening, Yoru was given no choice but to battle the possessed Yomi, though he tried to bring her back rather than to destroy her. In the end, Yomi decided to give Yoru a clear shot at victory, and froze the Master and her own body in place in a spur of spiritual strength. While Yoru did get a decisive blow in, it came at a cost: the red stone Yomi wore was shattered into pieces, and Yomi's chest was completely wrecked by the Revolving Fang's brute force. Yomi died by a combination of blood loss and acid burns, since her own acidic blood ate away at her delicate body once she had been sufficiently weakened. With a heavy heart, Yoru took the stone and repaired it, and has kept it ever since in memory of Tsukuyomi Soul...
Since the day both Yomi and Master died, Vulcan had been growing progressively weaker and weaker, with many of the "clones" dying off in what could only be described as swarms. The few that did survive were able to provide for themselves quite well if they depended on the corpses of their former brethren. However, times became tougher and tougher, to the point that new Vulcaneans were no longer coming into existence. Like this, the planet seemed to be on its last doomed leg...
One day, Dimenda came across Yoru and the stone of Yomi he possessed. When she told him we could rebirth him, he could hardly believe her. However, with one of Vulcan's few infants in her arms, the idea didn't seem nearly as ludicrous; and since she stated she wanted to bring Vulcan back to life, there was little reason to refuse her offer if Yomi was necessary, anyway. Deciding to trust her, Yoru could hardly hide his delight when Dimenda's words rung true, and Yomi was reborn right before his very eyes. Now that Tsukuyomi has taken over as the new Master, Vulcan is stronger for it and much more varied now that it's got Mikan, Yoru, Dimenda, Hakai and Yomi herself to repopulate it. An unusual phenomenon is occurring where these new Vulcaneans possess the ability to reproduce on their own...and that is the current state Vulcan finds itself in.
As the new Master of Vulcan, Tsukuyomi's powers have only been increasing as the population of Vulcan rises at an incredible rate. Gifted with even more strength than before, multiple tentacles for which she can use for battle and reproductive properties, and the ability to bear more children than before, it's clear that Yomi has accepted her new role with gusto. Currently, she's determined to help Dimenda expand the power of Vulcan...although it seems they're drawing the attention of the rival planet, Mode, with this planetary rebirth.
As one can likely guess, she's still deeply infatuated with Yoru in her reborn life, and does everything she possibly can to draw him out of the shell he's put up around himself emotionally. Though he lets his defensiveness drop around Tsukuyomi, it's very unlikely he'll drop this facade around anyone else. With a shared child by the name of Lazeli and more cubs on the way, however, it seems Yomi doesn't mind this at all.
When it comes to reproducing or helping others in such a way, Tsukuyomi is able to create a pouch and Mark someone else with her stinger-tentacle, which can produce both a numbing liquid and a special one that helps her create the aforementioned pouch once it's pierced through someone's belly. The tentacles she possesses can also be used for rather obvious methods of reproduction (as well as battle purposes, since they're very powerful and almost impossible to break or rip apart).
Tsukuyomi and a handful of the new Vulcaneans hold their reproductive organs in their stomachs, where the supposed bellybutton is actually the entrance to their egg pouches (of which there are usually 4 total). It's thanks to this system, and the love and energy of both Yoru and Dimenda, that Yomi has come to carry 5 Seeds total, and eagerly awaits the day of their birth.
Tsukuyomi also possesses the ability to attain a form similar to that of the original Master, where her body turns into a single-eyed winged eyeball, and her teal fur becomes a deep purple that's charged with electrical energy. In this form, she sacrifices her power strength and weak defenses for a very tank-like form that becomes slow, physically unimpressive, but obtains an extreme wealth of SP...and she retains all her blitzing spells in this form as well. The only major drawback is that it's much easier to drive Tsukuyomi insane in this form due to the sheer magic power it possesses. In addition, though physical damage doesn't harm her as much, statuses such as poison become much harder to shrug off. In general, Yomi strives to avoid using this form, since it reminds her of her bitter Master from her first life too much for comfort.
When she was given her mask back from Yoru to use as an identity safekeeper, Yomi became much more confident of herself, and will freely show up around others now, so long as it isn't removed. Her fear of being shunned without it stems from prior experiences on Ceres. Even if the mask reminds her of her past life, she still feels comfort from having it.
A reference of Tsukuyomi in her "Cerian" form (that being the 'default' form for her while on Ceres/the Overworld). She doesn't have her wings out in this form.
