Rouge

This moody former Mystic Lord is quite taciturn. Though he displays Mystic tendencies and tries to showcase a suave persona, Rouge often loses himself to his temper and depression, and can become incredibly bull-headed when his mood reaches a certain point. Mastering in gun-play, Rouge can sometimes come off as someone who wouldn't hesitate to go on a killing spree, though he dislikes wasting lives so simply.

In his former full-Mystic life, Rouge (known as Ruroa) was responsible for his younger twin sisters, Ame and Lessica, as his parents (who were Hunters) were often too busy killing rivals and demons off. Disliking Rouge immensely, his father eventually managed to convince his less-than-stable mother to send a hitman against him (not wanting to lose his role as Lord when Rouge became old enough to succeed him). This attempt failed, fortunately for Rouge. Unfortunately, upon trying to confront his father about the assassination attempt, his father lost his patience and shot at him multiple times. The twins, who had come to love Rouge more than their absent parents, took the hits for him and died in his stead. Upon rampaging and ridding himself of his parents in retaliation, Rouge went out to find someplace to bury his sisters. Unfortunately, due to his clothing and coat, he was mistaken for a Lummox from a werewolf clan, and was killed on his way back. Upon realizing their mistake, the Elder of the werewolf clan revived Rouge with his own blood, causing Rouge to become a halfbreed and to lose all his memories.

From there, Rouge went on to live with one of Mikage's relatives, though the arrangement was not a happy one. Often going berserk due to rising memories, the Sorcerer Lapis Lazuli nevertheless used Rouge to retrieve his sister, who had been taken by Mystics. When Rouge's memories resurfaced, Rouge followed Lazuli into certain defeat, though he came very close to winning the battle for them. Placed into stasis and sealed inside a dangerous icy mountain after that, Rouge went by hidden...until Mikage found him during a mission, and brought him back to Minerva with him, anyway.

Upon hearing the name Lusca from Kagetora, the repressed memories of his past came back to haunt him, and Rouge became very quiet for quite some time. It took Kagetora quite some time to coax him out of his shell, though once he did, Rouge and he became incredibly close. Today, Rouge often spends his time training Mikage in magic arts, though he's disliked by Yoru due to his history as a demon hunter.

His Mystic skill is that of a vampire. Though he is a halfbreed, he can distil his own blood into a vial to be used for numerous purposes. One such purpose could be to grant another creature some power, or simply to increase their lifeforce. Because he is a Mystic, however, he often has to take lifeforce from others; often, Kagetora provides him this. Aside from his earned nickname of the Demon King (due to the way he would charm his kills in), Rouge is (or was) the Charm Lord successor. This role has since been filled, though Rouge doesn't really seem to mind this loss. Like most Mystics, Rouge also has something of a gaudy fashion taste, to say the least.

He has something akin to a crush on his childhood friend, Wave Princess Mirikki (who is evidently a Water Mystic). He has grown to be able to create delicious teas in an attempt to impress her, and to begin repaying her for saving him from drowning long ago.

Rouge, as one can probably tell, has incredibly bad fortune. He often laments this, albeit mentally.
