Kage

Known as one of the first official Guardians of Ceres, as the Ice Guardian, Kage can be very distant. Preferring to treat strangers with a facade of absolute trust, Kage can be very detached with the people he truly cares about. That is until certain events in his home world force him to reassess his attitude... Nowadays, Kage is willing to trust anyone he fights alongside, though he won't cut fighters any slack if they mess up.

In terms of friendships, Kage can be somewhat of a cruel trickster. Those he values especially will often be netted the worst of his pranks, though that isn't to say Kage will put anyone in danger. In the face of danger, Kage refuses to give up, fighting or otherwise, and will fight until his own demise...or until Stealth escapes, at least.

Towards strangers, Kage tries his best to be civil and polite with. This can make him come across as indifferent, unfortunately, which has netted Kage many rivals and enemies over the years. Add his former occupation in his first life (being an assassin), and Kage faces quite a lot of strife throughout his lifetime.

Unlike most of his teammates, Kage prefers to fight with mixed arts, utilizing his Phoenix Feather katana alongside Ice Magic. The results are often devastating when he (or Stealth) land a critical hit. Unfortunately for Kage's foes, the property to his katana that forces enemies into a reincarnation cycle only works on other demons.

Now in his third life, Kage continues to try his best to act as his team's Leader, often putting up a calm facade in order to ensure that the more paranoid of his posse don't freak out. Kage himself is prone to moments of attitude due to this, however.

Since Ragnarok's Call has passed, Kage has not changed much noticeably. Although he was around for his family this time around, Kage still constantly deals with the guilt his choices in his original life have pinned to him. With the help of Rena and Yoru, alongside the constant loyalty of Mikage, he may start to warm up to others much more than he allowed himself to before...

Now that he's been reborn and now that Rena is a half-demon, the pair seem much more likely to open up towards others. Being claimed by Crysta as Mates and a part of their upcoming Clan, the two took special notice of Cryslove. When Aika helped Cryslove grow into an adult, and gave Rena some new abilities as well, the two became Mates with each other. Soon after, Kage claimed Cryslove as his Mate as well. So far, Kage seems very happy to have children, partially fueled by his desire to save his species (which had only had 3 members before Cryslove came along). Contrary to what one might think, Kage shows his Mates and family a great deal of affection, and seems very protective.

After visiting Lovcore with Crysta and some friends, Kage eventually succumbed to the strong Love energy in the area and fell into Heat. He thusly became extremely amourous with Crysta when she managed to corner him up in a tree and began to get cuddly with him. It didn't take too long from there for the both of them to become Soul Bounded, and for Kage to gain a total of 4 pouches (2 outer, 2 deeper in). With Crysta's help, Kage managed to bring the total number of his species up to around 15500 children total, and sent 5000 home to Ceres to grow up (as the 500 prior had already been sent there). The rest were allowed to stay at Lovcore, and show promise of thriving there easily. As an Ice creature, the children that were created show strong characteristics from both of their parent's sides, and are almost all cuddly, fluffy and magically potent. As a result, Kage has become much more confident and trusts Crysta much more than he did before. With his tendencies to be kindest towards children, there's no doubt he's going to spoil his extended family silly in the coming years.

Unexpectedly, from the feeling of both being unappreciated and being loved only for what he could give to her, Kage broke up with Crysta (and Cryslove with her lack of visits or attention to him and Rena for similar reasons), and has grown closer to Rena as a result as well.

In the time that Kage has grown used to a different lifestyle, he grew closer to Black-bell and his family as a friend, to the point that he's willing to help him out with whatever he can. Though, the new addition of her reborn Thunder Guard, Zaelestis, certainly puts a damper on his daily life...

After being warned by the Shadow Prince that Rena's heart was failing her, he took her to Immunità for help, and was able to successfully replace her dying heart with a new, strong Core. He hopes this will ensure a long future together with her by his side.

After an unfortunate series of events involving Zaelestic, Serena ultimately died in Kage's arms. Grief-stricken, Kage came close to outright murdering Zaelestis, only stopped by Tutore and the people that came to support him. In the following days, he struck up a close friendship that eventually developed into a proper relationship with Rimedio, who was steadfast in keeping him comforted, sane and took his mind off of his depression. They eventually became Soul Mates after finding they got along well and cared deeply for each other, resulting in the birth of a kitsune-angelic child named Ceryu. Now, Kage is even more determined to live his life keeping his family as safe as possible.
