Yostic

Born from Rikiya when he separated fully from Ceres with the help of Black-bell, the species is a hybrid of Cerian Demons/Youkai and the Mystics from Fate's Realm, the species is fairly new and currently only contains two members in it; Rikiya, the progenitor of the species, and Qualia, who'll be born as one. There's quite some difference between the two of them, so certain traits are both shared and contrast between the two of them (though it's questionable as to whether the power of determination/willpower might be wieldable by this species outside of Rikiya, either). More information will come in as Qualia grows.

Appearance

Currently, the species is known for their animal-like traits (shared from their formerly-Youkai progenitor), wings (from their Mystic side, though it won't be a common trait) and their occasional markings (only IF they have hidden traits) in the form of stripes. It seems the trait to have Power Stripes may only stay with the first two of the species, however. The species is mostly humanoid otherwise, and either have rounded, human-like ears or pointy, elf-like ears, as well as their animalistic ones. Despite originating from Rikiya, the species generally won't be able to shapeshift by any means. It's been hypothesized that female Yostic will be taller than their male counterparts due to their mixed genetics (as both parent species share this dynamic).

Behaviour

Tending to be more individualistic than collectivist, Yostic are fairly loyal to those they've decided to befriend and/or are family with. They can also be very determined individuals, and are very hard-working when they want to put their minds towards a certain task. They're very intelligent beings as well, so with some training or sufficient motivation, they can become powerful fighters, healers or magicians. They tend to love learning, and also tend to have the habit of making the lives of their loved ones easier by helping out and doing whatever they can to give others a break (if they're particularly close). They certainly don't do things half-assed. It does take them some effort to become proficient with technology, though.

Climate

Much like their Mystic ancestors, Yostic tend to prefer colder (but not freezing) climates, and will avoid densely clustered populations.

Reproduction

Yostic are capable of reproducing through sex. The Seed method only works for Rikiya, as it cannot work for any children that may result from his lineage due to a different body type and biology. Any future children born from Qualia and any other Yostics will also rely on their partners (or will do it themselves if male) to grow the Spirit Flower of their offspring, much like their Mystic relatives. Because of Rikiya's lineage, it's also possible to help a spirit be reborn by taking them into their wombs and reducing them into Seeds or fetuses, growing them until birth thereafter.
