Magikert are the most common species in the galaxy that Cody and his allies are from. Though their appearances can be mistaken for a Human, they act quite differently. Some Magikerts even have the ability to harness the use of magic. The species is a very smart species mostly resulting from their high use of reasoning. They are not easy to pressure, though certain signs will show when they are pressured enough. Magikerts are most commonly found in settled areas like cities and towns, but they can be found in forests, fields and many other climates as long as their basic needs lie nearby. You are unlikely to come across a Magikert if you are in an area with extremes, like Arctic or volcanic areas. Magikert reproduce asexually, meaning that no physical contact is required. To reproduce, both the male and female must agree to having a child mentally and verbally. After this they must cast a wish for a newborn (the verbal part). If and only if their relationship is true (real with neither side planning a break up) will a newborn appear between them. Under rare circumstances, when a Magikert wishes for more than one child (which rarely happens to start with) extreme levels of excitement might lead to an Inner Egg being released from the body. If this egg is nurtured inside someone, it will eventually become heavy enough to slip out of their body and moments later, melt open to Fairoris Minor, an uncommon fairy in the Dome Sector and a very rare fairy in Cody's Galaxy.
Similar to humans. Skin is tougher than a Human. Build is more sturdy, a more efficient bone structure and slightly more muscle. The shorter Magikert are taller than the shorter Humans.
Magikert's skin colour is similar to Humans, though mostly white. Hair colour has similar boundaries to Humans, although blond can have variations closer to yellow.
Magikert's clothing varies depending on the occasion. Professional wear is the default when working. Casual wear outside of work. Magikert that serve in the GRA will wear their uniform with their designated rank when on duty. They will wear casual wear that is to standard off duty. Magikert dresses are typically just above the knee, with a light degree of variation. Magikert females sometimes show the skin of their shoulders, but they are not known to show too much. Magikert males don't usually show much skin. They may wear shorts on warmer days. Magikerts will wear jackets in colder situations and keep themselves covered and protected from the elements. They will sometimes dress in extraordinary costumes on special occasions from birthday parties to weddings.
The reason a lot of Magikert are white is because of the lack of dangerous sun radiation, which their bodies would otherwise adapt to. However, on island regions, Magikert are more likely to have a higher variation in terms of skin colour, since the sun radiation is higher there. Magikert treat others equally regardless of this factor. They may use such observations to estimate where a Magikert could have come from, but will not be treated differently because of this.
Difficult to frustrate. Calm under normal situations. Visible stress signs in stressful environments, but normal behaviour otherwise. Younger Magikert are curious and eager to learn. Older Magikert are relaxed and love to teach.
Exceptional reasoning. Even in fast act situation there is a high level of reasoning within Magikerts
Magikerts are very social. On average a Magikert makes about 9 threads of communication per hour. The thread size is about 33 sentences. If a Magikert is interested in a topic, the thread size could increase notably.
Magikerts use verbal English in most situations. However, they have the ability to learn many different languages at a good rate.
Magikerts are extremely smart and innovative. They think beyond the scenario and often come up with solutions that exceed what will complete it.
Magikerts are found all over Sector Dome. There are thousands of planets that have at least some of them on it. They only avoid planets with extreme conditions. They are uncommon in other sectors.
Magikerts like comfort zone temperatures (20°C to 25°C), but can manage in places as high as 50C and places as low as -40C. They like places with an average amount of rainfall, but can tolerate arid areas. Magikerts are most commonly found in settled areas. Fields and forests are also a good places to find them. They could thrive in swamp areas, but may not be very densely populated in those types of areas. They may still be found in extreme areas, but this is seldom seen. Magikerts in these areas often wear climate protective gear.
Magikerts can adapt to a number of environments. They usually build shelters, but how they adapt depends on the resources they can find. Most of the time they will create villages, towns and cities. In times where resources are scarce, they will build isolated shelters.
Magikerts like to explore. They are not shy on exploring any climate, but will only settle in manageable climates. They are unlikely to explore another planet unless they can build means of transportation with the resources they have, but will explore the planet they live on without a fuss.
Magikerts typically court in social situations. They use flattery, dancing and gentlefolk practices for the most part. Magikert are clever when it comes to building a relationship with their partner. There is little or no aggression when it comes to looking for a partner, especially since females do not find it appealing for such an approach.
Asexual initiation. When a male and female Magikert wish to have a newborn, they cast a wish. This is usually done in a romantic place with good privacy. They are granted the wish if they are prepared and if their relationship and love for each other is true. As a side note, Magikert may still perform sexual actions, but this is only for pleasure and does not influence reproduction.
Magikert are granted their baby, but still have wombs. Magikert do not usually lay eggs. Though the species they evolved from did. On a rare occasion, under extreme excitement and when casting a wish for more than one child, Magikert could lay an Inner Egg. This egg melts into a Fairois Minor, an uncommon fairy. Magikert females will become pregnant if the wish is cast while in an embrace. The child will be born as soon as the Magikert's body is prepared. This typically takes from an hour to a day.
Magikert grow to be very protective of their offspring. However, they are more open to any friends that existed prior to the birth of their child. Magikert will either feed their young by breast, magic or a formula. There has been a decent variety between the three. By the second month, Magikert babies will already be able to understand their surroundings. When the offspring starts to teeth at around 4 months, the mother will gradually change to soft foods, then onto solid foods. At month five Magikert will be able to walk (not stand yet). The father will protect the mother should any threat come. The father also takes on the role of monitoring the baby.
Magikert will begin to train their offspring at 6 to 12 months in. They will start with waste management, then move onto object interaction. When the child speaks their first word at about 6 months, they will be trained on speech. The father does most of the training, though the mother does step in once in a while. When the child makes an effort to stand, which occurs around five months, the child will be taught how to stop/go as well. By year two the basic training is usually complete. They begin schooling at the age of 5 and graduate at the age of 10. Though their training is complete at that time, they do not mature until the age of 18.
