Labelled "The Child of the End" and "Ragnarok Child" for his previous involvement in saving the first incarnation of Ceres, Takuto is a strange individual by Cerian standards. Unlike most of his peers, he isn't afraid to mouth off and fight for his opinions (a stance many of his peers would agree with, but wouldn't allow themselves to follow in fear of being punished). Living in regret for being unable to save his surrogate family, Takuto is an individual who is slow to become attached to others. However, he is incredibly protective of the few friends he allows, cracking jokes and nick naming the people he especially values.
Unlike most demons, Takuto prefers to use the power of his body than that of his mind, and is able to wield his Twisted Zweihander one-handed as a result. That isn't to say he cannot use magic, however. Often displaying terrifyingly accurate telepathy and telekinesis-based skills, Takuto will rarely give up in a battle, physical or otherwise, and fights against the end constantly.
He shares half a soul with Akibi in his first life, then reincarnates as a Raiz Demon (wolf-lion hybrid demon) in his second life, with his Companion-Soul Chii to keep him company. Chii also serves as a magic filter for Takuto, so he isn't as affected by impure magic as his peers are, making him less prone to mental manipulation via magic in the long run.
Since Ragnarok's Call has passed, Takuto has lived a much different life than the one he knew before. Growing up as Akibi's twin, Takuto has never been alone in his new life, as he almost always was in his original, fragmented existence. Becoming best friends with Ryoku, Rangge and Mikage, he has become much more mature since he was last with the group. Coming back older, at 18 rather than 16, though Takuto has had many different experiences since his original life, he's still the same old brash, hasty lion-hearted idiot that he was before. Falling head-over-heels for Crysta, he has claimed her as his Partner by giving her his Aura Insignia/Mark, and will do anything to keep his savior and cherished Partner happy.
Now that he's engaged to Crysta, it seems Takuto is becoming even happier than he usually is. Though his resistance to outer Charm is growing, it seems Crysta is becoming a weakness of his as well. Or rather, she seems to be able to trigger excited states much easier than before, now.
He seems very proud of his children. Slowly, he's starting to grow just as attached to the children as he is to Crysta. So far, he's protective over them, but still leaves them with Chii and now Atria without much difficulty. Now that Aika and the quadruplets have entered his life, he seems to have gone from proud to excited father very quickly... Takuto seems to trust Crysta completely, body and soul, and has become much more relaxed thanks to their strong bond.
As a result of his close bond with Crysta, Takuto's powers have grown enough that a physical manifestation of his power has emerged. Residing on his left shoulder blade, this red crystalline wing seems to make Esper/Mind Magic much easier to cast and absorb, although it's much more sensitive than his tail is...
Now that both of his wings have sprouted, Takuto's magic capacity has reached an A-rank. Unfortunately for him, this means he must now learn to wield this much more powerful energy, or risk having it rampage against his will (possibly hurting himself in the process).
After Chii proclaimed her love for Crysta, Takuto joined Crysta in becoming Mates with Chii, and seems rather proud of Crysta (and himself, given that Chii is expecting another set of twins). He seems to be much closer to Chii now. Before she gave birth to twin girls (bringing her total offspring count to 4 at the time), he and Crysta bonded their souls to Chii, and gained another Soul Mate. Though Chii is important to him, Crysta is still the one Takuto will spoil relentlessly.
Thanks to Chii and Crysta, Takuto has finally gained his True Demon Form, and has become a Guardian (soon to become Knight with training). His body grows two times it's regular size, his wings grow four times their default size, and his tail extends and thickens quite a bit. His entire body becomes furry (and occasionally scaly), and he changes to a lion-like form. He holds strong draconic elements in this state, including his eyes, and gains a pouch inside him for his Mates to relax in. In this form, Takuto's strength grows immensely, as does his magic prowess. Should he wish it, he could easily crush someone with his jaws alone, never mind his sharp claws and powerful limbs. However, when he's around Crysta, he can retain his sanity in this form, and will treat her just as carefully as he always does (as he does with Chii as well). The pouch within secretes a fluid that will basically drown the person in wonderful feelings (although it doesn't literally drown them). With training, Takuto will become a very formidable opponent with this new form.
After Crysta took Asteria as her Mate, Takuto and Chii began to grow closer to Asteria as well, to the point that they gave her their Mate Marks and received hers in turn. Takuto seems very happy and proud to accept Asteria as a part of their growing Clan. With Laychal as their new Soul Mate, now all five of the Mates can legitimately form their own Clan. Asteria hasn't yet given the Clan's shared symbols over yet though...
When Crysta was spirited away by a masked mage and his guard, Takuto fought hard to save her, and took quite a mental beating while Atria took a physical one. Weakened by the dark energies and creatures summoned by the mage, Takuto eventually lost control and took the offer of power from Hakai, the Dragon of Destruction. Petulant, abrasive and obsessed with destruction, Hakai treated the others as if they were nothing but specks of dirt, and heavily damaged Takuto's body when Crysta attempted to put him back to sleep. Now that Takuto has control back, he'll have to worry a great deal about losing control again, especially since it's much harder to restrain him now. With Messi as the new Host of the Dragon of Creation, the team has a few more years, at least, until Hakai and Jinsei awaken once again...
When Hakai was separated from him, Takuto regained total control over his body, and has retained his ability to shift into a True Form at the expense of any Space Magic Mastery he had before (though he can still use some spells). When Hakai gave him 50 Dragon Seeds to carry, Takuto and Crysta ended up keeping 6 dragons who took a particular liking to them. According to Hakai, affectionate as they might be, they have the potential to be very hardy fighters with a heavy bloodlust. Time will tell if things turn out that way with the 6. In particular, the sixth girl Yume has a marking that seems to signify she can become the Host of the Dragon of Rebirth...
Nowadays, when it comes to family, Takuto doesn't seem to care about the size of it so long as his Mates (especially Crysta and Chii) are happy. With their upcoming Clan, it seems they'll at least have some help caring for so many youngsters.
Because of unfortunate circumstances in the region of Zhoushen, Takuto ended up caught in a revolt with a fellow Lord, Yuu, and ended up being killed by thugs that quickly swarmed the both of them. Takuto died of an axe wound deep inside his skull, which went far enough to sever the magic pouch within his cranium. As a result, his original body was unable to react to magic (as the flow was cut off), and ultimately had to be burned in order to return any lingering power from his body to his Core. Thankfully, because Crysta held onto his Core, his soul returned to the stone first rather than to dissolve and travel to the Dream World, where deceased souls normally go. After Aion sacrificed his own Core and gave half of his power to Takuto's Core, the previously-broken Soul Bond between him and Crysta were restored, and he gained the ability of sightseeing. Unfortunately, his infantile body is in a state where additional energy will not make it grow, since he has to grown into these new powers. After he masters them, however, the clause will be removed, and he can be grown to an older state. Though he was rather cold to Crysta in his new body, when Crysta and Chii took him to the Mind Arena, he seemed to relax and showed a strong like for learning new words and names. Since Crysta has patiently taken to teaching him new things, he's become closer to her again. It seems it'll be much easier for him to bond to Crysta after learning that they're Mates. So far, he shows no signs of remembering any of his past lives, and acts as he did in his second life.
As he did in his reborn third life, Takuto began to regain some of his memories via dreams, though they came in a random order. As a child, he shows much more mental growth than physical so far, and after he was given a Power Gem that contained some of his old power in it, became able to start training most of his old abilities again. When he was with Crysta at Lovcore, he eventually managed to make it clear that he wished to regain his memories, plagued with emotional pain at the fact that he couldn't recall anything before or after their wedding. While it took him a full night's sleep to fully regain his memories, Takuto seems to be up to speed again now. The only thing he lacks is a mastery over his new ability to glimpse into the future, though it's this ability that holds him back from regaining his adult-like form too. With Crysta, Chii and their other Soul Mates backing him up, however, it might not be long now...
When the idea of quick-training Takuto's Future Sight ability was brought up, Takuto jumped at the chance, and asked Drepa to create a dreamscape for him, Chii and Crysta within the Mind Arena to practice. When the girls delved into Takuto's mind, they found that his mind had been split in three parts. The original Takuto, who retained his memories and acted as the subconscious, Baby Takuto, who had blanked out when Takuto regained his memories, and acted as the conscious, and Aion, who was as he had been before, and acted as the unconscious. Between the three of them, Takuto was able to master the ability to use Future Sight, though when the idea of removing Baby Takuto from his mind was brought up (as Takuto would absorb anyone bonded to his mind and body after mastering the Future Sight skill), Crysta used her wonderful ability to rebirth others into the physical realm on Baby Takuto after he was given a new Core and Esper energy to live with. Once reborn, Baby Takuto was renamed Leo (nicknamed Takootie to remind him of his prior connections), and retained his Soul Bond wth Crysta (and acted extremely happily as a result). As for Takuto, he was able to regain his original adult form, and now strives to train hard to reach the same point he was at in his prior life with Crysta and the others. He mostly wants to regain his True Form first and foremost.
After a long period of difficulties and problems brought as a result of Chii's memory impairment, Lightning leaving Crysta and Crysta's declining health and increased dependency on him, Takuto was unable to deal with the relationship any longer and struck up a deal with Aika to break the soul bond between himself, Crysta and Chii and take his and Chii's place within that bond in order to try for an amicable split (and with the hope that Crysta may be able to find her real Soul Mate, feeling inadequate and like he and Chii weren't the right match for her). While it will take a long time to recover from such a sudden split, especially because he never stopped loving Crysta or their children, Takuto hopes that this will be the start of a better, brighter future for his former partner and friend, and currently lives with Chii and Leo within her suite.
Having struck up a close friendship with Risposta, Takuto has begun to accept his new lifestyle with a renewed zeal and outlook on life. Though it will take some time to get over the past breakups and losses, he hopes to live a good life with his new partner and their children.
Backstory
When Takuto came to the group, he was on his third life and was desperate to divert the second Ragnarok's Cry. Having suffered a ruthless murder in his first life from the then-crazed Adamantine, and then losing his entire family in his second life when the first Ragnarok began, Takuto was very closed-minded when he first began to travel with the team. He used to hide an oversensitivity issue until Crysta got him to open up and eventually confessed her love to him. It was only when his team was gathered up completely that Takuto began to open up to the others, especially Crysta. When she offered to help him find a permanent solution to save Kaskuri and their realm, he took it and began to fall for her when he saw her dedication to him. From there, once Kaskuri brought all of the teammates and worlds back to their full strength, Takuto freely began a life with her...
In his first life, Takuto was originally a part of Akibi and had no sway or willpower of his own. However, as Akibi grew and the Dragon of Rebirth began to grow more powerful within him, Akibi grew weaker and weaker to the point of debilitating disease. When his long lost brother Griever, alongside Requiem and a young Ryoku (then known as Kiryuu) returned home and found him in this state at the tender age of 3, Requiem (known for his ability to split demons into Fragments, as well as being one himself) split what became Takuto's soul from Akibi's. In doing so, Takuto and the Dragon of Destruction warped themselves elsewhere, deciding to recuperate where no one would suspect them of being a destructive half. With the Dragon of Creation within him, Akibi began to grow strong again, and eventually forgot Takuto's existence. However, a decade and a half later, when Takuto was murdered and set to reincarnate by the Reaper, Rangge, Akibi grew aware of his existence once again (especially when Ryoku brought him Takuto's soul crystal). From there, Akibi and Ryoku strengthened their bond to prevent either dragon from awakening once more... Until recently, neither "half" has remembered this crucial detail, since the reset Ceres set them back to a time before they learned about any of this.
During his second life, when the Ragnarok stole Rainhart and Kurogane away from him (alongside his other adopted family members), Takuto was joined by Chii (who was attached to his tail and could only use her eye to communicate freely with others). With her energy filtering skill, Takuto was able to survive the corrupted world Ceres had become until the Creator, Kaskuri, finally took pity on him and took him back with him to his home space. From there, Kaskuri created a replica of Ceres with his remaining powers, and transferred all of the souls he would later need for power to the replicated world. While he managed to keep this world and the Dream World (ie. The realm where deceased souls went to await reincarnation) relatively intact, it wasn't until Takuto, Kage and the Lords the group later gathered during the second Ragnarok's Cry figured out their purpose that they began to have hope for Ceres' rebirth. With the help of the realm-runner Shoraku and the phoenix Altair, the group eventually managed to gather enough power to give Kaskuri their strength. Once they reached Kaskuri and defeated his corrupted form, they were finally able to give him the power he needed to restore the realm to its rightful place. After, he conducted a tournament with the remaining teammates to determine whose souls would become the next Progenitor (which became Akibi and Ryoku), and who would become the next destined Creator, if anything was to happen to him. However, though the realm was able to exist peacefully for another 10000 years, the solution was only temporary, and Kaskuri grew weak once more... Desperate, he plucked the group from Ceres before it began to collapse, and teleported them to a realm outside of their own... And so, this is how Takuto and the others came to the Overworld.
